Collecting Information: If you order from our online store, we need to collect your order information, including your mailing address and billing information. That information is stored in a database here. (The database is offline, behind a firewall.) Credit card information is sent to our bank by telephone. We do not provide your order information to any third party, except that we will provide it to our bank if they advise us that the cardholder has disputed the charge.
Spam: We ask for an e-mail address with the order information which we use in case there are questions or problems with the order. If you check the box on the order page to give us permission to send mail about other related books, we might do so. Your e-mail address will not be provided to any third parties.
Releasing Information: We promise never to release your name or address to any other organization. You won't receive spam from anyone. We send a newsletter a few times a year to let you know about new releases, and we'll send you a confirmation if you order a tape, but that's the only mail you'll receive as a result of telling us your e-mail address.
Secure Server: We don't yet have a secure server, but studies have shown that they don't make any difference to the safety of online purchases. Credit card information gets stolen from online database (we don't have one!), not from data en route to web servers.
